Month to Month

Sun Jul 26, 2009, 6:45 AM
So, with about a month of free time before we head home I'm hoping to get some good photos for this place. There are heaps of horse shows, a river festival and possibly some more car shows and I KNOW we'll be heading back down to Emerald Downs again (to make a full day of it this time) so hopefully there will be good stuffs added here.

You're welcome! And thanks for liking Winter Shadow & Light. I would dearly love to have snazzy camera like yours, but my little nikon is making due for the moment.
I love your pictures of Ryan, they're great.
:iconmelmissa:
I'm partial to my pictures of Ryan myself lol.
Believe it or not, you can get an amazing camera for around 250. Canon 10Ds (which are still kick ass) are three generations earlier then my 40D are incredibly affordable. It's something to consider because you definitely have a nice eye for photos. :)
Or if you're wanting to stay with Nikon the D50 is really affordable (also around 200). If you look in my favorites here on DA and click on saudimacks' name you'll see A. Some amazing horse photos and B. Good examples of what a Nikon D50 can do.

That's a really evil suggestion... I would love a new camera. Maybe I can get the hubby to let me get one this summer for my birthday... ^_^

I'm the queen of evil suggestions. :) An enabler in the fullest sense of the word.
But yeah, it's hard to find them brand new, I'm a fan of used equipment myself. Check out [link]

their classifieds are reliable and also you can learn quite a bit. I know I have. I've added them to my daily forum browsing list. :D
